MHR DROP-OFF, SCHOOL DAY ACCESS, AND PICKUP PROCEDURES

  Drop-off:

Normal

7:00 - 7:45 am: The two front gates on the circular drive and rear gate by the PE rooms are available, but there is no drop-off supervision.

7:45 - 8:00 am: Drop-offs are supervised. The above three gates plus the covered Media Center gate are available. Drop offs are permitted in front of the school, at the Media Center gate (exit to Linebaugh), or at the intersection between the Parish Center and the Media Center (exit either to Linebaugh or through the parking area behind the church to the northwest gate [which is then locked from 8:15 to 2:15]) .

Rainy day

7:00 - 8:00 am: Two front gates on the circular drive, Rear gate by the PE rooms, and Media Center gate.

  During school hours:

8:00 am - 2:40 pm: Front gate and Rear gate only.

  Pick up:

Normal

Students will be escorted by teachers to dismissal area by the oak tree. For 2007-2008, we will be making signs with your child(ren)'s name(s) and grade(s) for you to post on your visor to make it easier for the crossing guards to get them to your car. So if you use the oak tree pick-up line, please send an e-mail with "MHR sign" in the subject line and your child(ren)'s first and last name(s) and homeroom(s) to Hasara@verizon.net. Also, if you carpool, please let us know that so we can make appropriate signs. Finally, please don't hesitate to e-mail with any questions, concerns or suggestions.

The right lane is for loading; driver must remain with the vehicle and parking is prohibited. 

The left lane is for through traffic turning left to park by the Media Center or right to park behind the church.

In both cases, loading and all vehicle movements and turns are as directed by the supervising crossing guards.

Rainy Day

Parents must still pick up children at their classrooms. Parents may enter the campus via the Rear gate by the PE rooms, the gate between the Media Center and the A1 classroom, and the Media Center gate.

The front gate is open for handicap pickup only.
