Notes
From the HSA
Most
Holy Redeemer, just like any other school, relies on volunteers. To
become a volunteer, you must have a completed
volunteer application, Level 2 Background Screening and Safe Environment
Training. We know it seems like a lot to do, but when it’s
all said and done, you’ll be glad that you did. The sooner you get the
process started, the better.
|
Don’t
forget that you can display your child’s name on the Birthday Sign for
$10. Their first name and age will be displayed for one week. Forms are available in the
office and can be downloaded here
on the web.
The HSA board members want you to
know that we are here for you if you have any questions or concerns.
Also, please check this website regularly. It is updated with
information all the time.
Thank
you and let us know if you need us!

Fundraising
|
The HSA sponsors
or facilitates several
commercial programs to help raise funds for MHR.
|
For more information on these programs, please click
on the logos. They'll open the
companies' sites where you'll
find program guidelines, answers to frequently asked questions
and participating products.
Our
Box Tops for Education and Tyson Project A+ Coordinator is Janet
Moore at 926-0553
or e-mail kamjcm@aol.com.
Incidentally, look for Box Tops on a variety of products
carrying the Avery®, Hi-Liter®, Marks-A-Lot® and Glue Stic®
brand names. Participating products include binders, dividers,
printable labels, T-shirt transfers, highlighters, permanent
markers and glue sticks. Here's
the complete list.
And we can even earn Box Tops rewards for your online purchases
if you choose to register. |
We
also participate in the Campbell's Labels for Education program, and
this directly benefits our Media Center. We appreciate the support from
so many of our families and remind everyone that we save only the UPC
portions of the labels, and we would appreciate it if you
would attach them to the 1-point
or 5-point
collection sheets. Goldfish®, Spaghetti-Os®, Swanson® broth, and Prego
|
Finally,
we participate in the My
Coke Rewards for Schools program. With this program, we can
earn points which will be redeemed for free things like
playground equipment, art supplies, sports gear, educational
resources, and much more. The Coke points are located underneath
the bottle caps and inside the cartons. All you need to do is
log onto the
Coke Rewards website and follow the instructions. The MHR
zip code is 33612. What a great way to earn free resources for
MHR!

Finally,
from time to time we participate in special campaigns. Currently,
Sweetbay is running the Supports
Schools Program from September
through November. Also, Publix is running its
annual Box Tops program
through October. We will detail
any other efforts in this space as the information becomes
available.

Thank
you for your support. . . . With
your help, we can make a difference!
