TRAFFIC ALERT

Our neighbors along the streets from the back exit gate to Bougainvillea Avenue have been complaining about cars speeding through their neighborhood between 2:40 pm and 3:15 pm. The City of Tampa Police Department has notified the school that they will be using radar to enforce the 15 mile per hour speed limit through the neighborhood behind the school for the next several weeks. Please slow down for the safety of our children and the neighborhood children and pets.

Again this Lent (through Wednesday, March 17), the MHR Student Council is sponsoring the Florida Catholic Long-Sleeve Relief Drive.

Financial Aid: In addition to the earlier-announced Tuition Assistance Grant Program, the Mary C. Forbes Scholarship application process for the 2010 - 2011 school year is now open. Get the most current updates and deadlines, links to the required Grant Program online application sites, administrative information for the Mary Forbes Foundation, and other data from the Financial Aid link in the violet "Tuition and Fees" box at left.

ITBS Results: We have updated some of the testing facts and figures for MHR's performance on the ITBS through last school year. Of special interest to many may be the information on the re-norming that took effect beginning with the fall 2008 scores. You can read about that and all our School Improvement Program information on the latest SIP page.

MHR is changing uniform vendors. The change will be effective for the 2010 - 2011 school year beginning next fall. Read more...
